The Lips have always been “my band”. After seeing them live, I wanted to make a track incorporating the things I love about them from across their fantastic career.

After holding Wayne Coyne aloft in his Zorb at the Leeds gig this year, my best friend and I pledged to become a Flaming Lips tribute act.

So in the middle of making this song, I stopped working on making our own version of Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots.
