What Have I Done - Lasso d’Amore Rework

Romeo & Juliet is the first studio album by the disco musician Alec R. Costandinos and the Syncophonic Orchestra released in 1978. It was recorded at Trident Studios, London, in September 1977 and released by Ibis in France and Casablanca Records in the US.
The album consists of one over 30-minutes long disco suite composed of five acts, including various instruments and genres. It included famous collaborators such as Don Ray, Herbie Flowers, Peter Van Hooke, Alan Hawkshaw, Chris Karan, Frank Ricotti and the photographer Ron Slenzak. One fragment was released as a "Romeo and Juliet" single and reached the top of US Hot Dance Club Play chart in March 1978. The album was called "conceptual masterpiece" by the AllMusic reviewer Jason Birchmeier, who gave it 4.5 out of 5 stars.

The song was written by Donna Summer,Giorgio Moroder and Pete Bellotte, and yes has their stamp all over it ,a masterpiece .One of many 12" Promotional Disco versions that was from the movie soundtrack "Thank God it's Friday" . I revamped this song Smoke Gets In Your Eyes which was a classic disco hit by Penny McLean,Penny is an Austrian vocalist who initially gained acclaim with the disco music act Silver Convention, but also had exposure as a single recording artist. As a solo singer, she is most remembered for her million seller "Lady Bump". In the mid-70s, she was a member of Silver Convention, a group that also included Linda G. Thompson and Ramona Wulf.They had hits with "Save me" and "Fly, Robin, Fly". Around mid 1977, McLean left Silver Convention. I mean no disrespect to the original version and have no rights to this song,its for listening pleasure only !!!

Work Me Over was a HNRG hit for her and filled the dance floors. ...... I added some Vocals and enhancements to the track and mean no disrespect to the remixes and original versions of this song, Enjoy !!!!!!

I remixed the great dance songs, Freak Connection / Standing in The Shadows of Love and Supernature as a mash-up from the great Master of Disco & Dance and mean no disrespect to the originals. Cerrone is considered to be one of the pioneers of electronic music. As a drummer first and foremost, Cerrone has been credited with being the first to de-tether the kick drum from the rest of the percussive mix. By emphasizing a strong kick on every downbeat, Cerrone popularized the infamous four-to-the-floor rhythmic pattern and thus laid the groundwork for early house and techno. Nile Rodgers credits “Cerrone’s contribution to dance music is as important as Giorgio and Kraftwerk’s”.

I remixed and revamped this great Classic Disco song by the great France Joli , a talent we all came to know that started in our classic disco club days , her beautiful looks and voice kept us going for many years and still graces our hearts and memories that will last our lifetime.......Tonight is an album by France Joli, released in 1980 on the Prelude label. It is well known for the singles "The Heart to Break the Heart" and "Feel Like Dancing". When producer Tony Green originally commissioned to record Joli  he indicated a desire to develop Joli as a Francophone singer, Green himself took over production duties for Joli. The tracks Joli cut with Green were picked up by Prelude and released on April 17, 1979, as the album France Joli.The track "Come to Me" received a boost when Joli performed it as a last-minute replacement for Donna Summer at the "BEACH '79" party held on Fire Island on July 7, 1979, before an estimated audience of five thousand. I remixed this classic disco hit with some added vocals by Donna and Giorgio Moroder from the  Thank God Its Friday 12in single Je T'aime, yes Moroder was the vocalist with Donna on this one. Love to Love You Baby is a song by American singer Donna Summer from her second studio album, Love to Love You Baby (1975). Produced by Pete Bellotte, and written by Italian musician Giorgio Moroder, Summer, and Bellotte, the song was first released as a single in the Netherlands in June 1975 as "Love to Love You" and then released worldwide in November 1975 as "Love to Love You Baby". It became one of the first disco hits to be released in an extended form.The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame named it one of the 500 Songs That Shaped Rock and Roll, Summer's only selection on this list.I mean no disrespect to the original masterpiece.

El Coco was the best-known of several projects by cult disco favorites W. Michael Lewis and Laurin Rinder, who produced, arranged, wrote, and played all the instruments on the vast majority of their material. 1977's Cocomotion and 1978's Dancing Paradise were the most successful, ranking as El Coco's best-remembered outing.  I do not own the rights to this song, I remixed it for listening pleasure only and gave it a bit of more bass and revamped it with a different vibe and mean no disrespect to the original masterpiece , Enjoy !!!!

In 1978, The Three Degrees signed to Ariola Records in Europe and the US and began working with Giorgio Moroder, who had become famous as a disco producer following his work with Donna Summer. Further success was to follow, and they released two disco-styled albums on Ariola ,New Dimensions in 1978, and 3D in 1979 which delivered four UK Top 20 hits between them ,Givin' Up Givin' In, Woman In Love,originally recorded by Twiggy in 1977, The Runner and My Simple Heart.
