„NERKKIRN is what happens when you pair two very different electronic musicians with a shared passion for warping sonic technology - and set them loose.“ Yet, speaking of paths, it has always been the new and experimental approaches that kept Nerk aka Benjamin Weiss and Peter Kirn moving and finally formed their intersection. 
Having founded the legendary Berlin rave act Tok Tok, Benjamin Weiss has been an innovative artist within the techno scene for many years now, including releases on Kompakt, Klang, and V-Records, often in collaboration with Dirk Leyers, as well as the co-creation of a new iPad step sequencer.
As a classically trained experimental musician the Kentucky-born Peter Kirn has been working in a wide range of fields such as modern dance, ambient audiovisual shows, as well as piano and underground experimental techno. Yet he might be best known as co-creator of the MeeBlip synthesizer and as the editor of CDM (createdigitalmusic.com). Again a common space he shares with Nerk, founding editor of De:bug.

Here we have the final 30minutes of the great party of the basement floor recorded at the WG Flohmarkt 2017 Aftershow party which was in the Off location at Schützenstr. 1. Unfortunately someone decided to charge the cellphone and unplugged the power supply from the recorder...So just this 30minutes were recorded of the end of the party. The amazing hours before are lost and so will become legendary in your mind! We need more strobe light and fog!

Steve Lorenz is synonymous of quality, vanguard, experimentation. He is steadily gaining prestige for the whole Europe public, thanks to a steady stream of high quality productions, establishing collaborations with international artists. The thematic direction of Steve is the result of a research and elaboration.
Steve has developed an industrial sound in constant evolution, in which techno, detroit, minimal, dub, electro, and neotrance sonority are fused. The final aim of Steve is to create a new techno called NUTECH, a new trend that has no links from the past, but from which derives free inspiration, a music for the man of the future.
Since 2008 Steve has gathered feedback and chart from the most important artists of the world: Dj Hell,Laurent Garnier, Gary Back, Damon Wild, Remute, Cio D’Or, Joachim Spieth, Axel Bartsch, Moog Conspirancy, Mathias Schaffauser, Francesco Farfa, Veerus, Ziel 100, Angel Alanis and many more.
The year 2010 closes for Steve with the greatest work of ever, the vinyl Abstraction EP on Synewave, the historical label of New York founded by Damon Wild in 1994, in which artist like Dj Hell, Jeff Mills, Adam Beyer, Joey Beltram, The Advent, Steve Rechmond, Rino Cerrone have worked.
Among the important collaborations in recent years include several works for Bjoern Scherumann and his label Fassade, some works for the Berlin Moog Conspirancy label Elektrotribe, works for Angel Alanis and his labels like Slap jax and klientele, The Psycho EP on Open Concept Recordings, and some remixes and works on other labels like Tracer, KDW, Producotos BMM, Absolutive.
Since 2010 Steve has became A&R of “Keep on limited”, and the first vinyl of Steve Lorenz Pulsar includes three prestigious remixes, one of Axel Bartsch (Kompakt), one of Danjel Esperanza (Meleon) and another by Bjoern Scherumann (Fassade). Many vinyls are in program in the next years.
