Gravity

The Reverend & The Pasztor have been communing tracks together for a while now (see the Very Reverends' SoundCloud page for some quite superb remixes by The Pasztor) and have finally married their talents in a communion of sound to produce this, their first attempt at a heavenly collaboration.  The Reverend had the idea of a down & out quite literally down on his luck, yet still looking forward to the prospect of an evening spent hearing the woman he loves sing for him.  Having uploaded the outline of the lyrics, vocals and instrumentation Pasztor took over, saying:

"I had an idea to make the character of the song quite lonely and robotic sounding and his longing for his human love interest to Sing To Him! Also I wanted it to have a really grandiose middle 8 to ending for which I have used many strings and choirs etc. I start the beginning off with an 808 drum machine but I morph it into an acoustic drum kit towards the end". 

What you now hear is the product of their union, a matrimony of minds, a sacrament of sound, pray, even a holy trinity of instrumentation - bass, drum & guitar. Amen.
