I strained my wrist playing guitar while practicing a new piece I hope to post in a month or two, so in the meantime I decided to freshen up a short piece I had on SC from a few years ago. It’s a simple melody, a musical meditation, towards peace; the dove of peace carries this message, through many cultures and religions. Peace is needed now, more than ever. Hope you may spend 2 minutes with me to meditate.
PS. Wasn't able to master this with clarity, so headphones/earphones best.

The Rose Theatre existed for only 17 years before its demolition in 1604. In the days of Shakespeare's tragedies this was surely a sad tale indeed. 
With 22 theatres in London at the end of the Tudor dynasty these bawdy wooden palaces were situated on the rough southern side of the Thames where cock fighting and bear baiting were also prevalent attractions. The remains of the Rose Theatre's foundations were discovered during recent redevelopment and are now a much heralded visitor attraction.

I needed some calming down after a stressful day. I just sat today and recorded this in 2 hours. While playing, I remembered Barry, the little hero of "Close Encounters of the Third Kind", playing the glockenspiel... I invite You and Your inner child on a journey between the stars.

Humanity as a child of the Universe. First, it discover the "music" of the Universe within itself, it try to "play" it as best as it can, not being aware of the existence of the universe. Then it begins to "hear", notice the music of the Cosmos, get to know it. It is doing it better and better, but still, like a child, it "plays" clumsily, sometimes too loudly, sometimes harmoniously. Will it harmonize with it or will it disappear?

I hope you like this track at least a little bit. I made it thanks to four, free,  wonderful Fracture Sounds @fracture-sounds instruments from the Blueprint series: Gentle Brass, Gentle Strings, Textural Violin and main hero - Greenhead Chimes.
