Departure of my beloved partner

There's some diving ducks down on the dock
they have to share the waters with the otters.
who also like that spot.
They don't know nothin bout the internet
And they don't give a damn about who's President
They just like to swim around all day
Under the water and eat those Fleshy Fishes
Cause they're so Dog Gone Delicious.

Now the gooses are arriving and the ganders they are fighting
and contriving to establish their Goosy Macho standing in the 
Hierarchy of the Gaggle.

And all the said Parties and Some Others
keep sharp eyes to the sky on the lookout for the Mighty Eagles
who hunt so fiercely with their Terrible and unforgiving Talons.

And the Spring is peeking through the Storm Clouds while each
and everyone is anticipating Her Arrival.

There's some Diving Ducks Down on the Dock.(the hierarchy of the Gaggle)

She Loves The Rain


Oh she loves the rain 
She stands in bare feet
How she loves the rain 
She runs into the street 
Let it soak her 
That heavy downpour 
It’s no joke, it’s what 
She’s renown for 

She doesn’t like humidity 
She prefers to keep cool 
Feel the raindrops on her skin 
She doesn’t need validity 
To jump in the pools 
Where the water’s gathering 

I love her in the rain 
That wettens her hair 
As showers fall again 
I’ll follow her there 
Of all the raindrops 
I know which I’d be 
One billion raindrops 
Those ones are lucky 

That splash into her hands 
And onto her cheek 
The ones she catches on her tongue 
Not the ones that quench the land 
Nor fill up the creek 
Nor make rainbows with the sun 

Of all the raindrops that must have fallen 
In darkening blooms on paving stones 
Or pointlessly into the ocean deep 
Or dripping from the eyelashes
Of rain lashed North Sea fishermen 
Or hiding lonely tears when someone weeps

Not swished by windscreen wipers 
From cars speeding towards maternity wards
Or bouncing down from leaf to heavy leaf
Or running in silver rivers
Down umbrellas held over elderly lovers 
When they kiss as if they’re teenagers beneath 

What I’d be is those that fall down upon her feet 

Oh she loves the rain

She Loves The Rain

A song about the northern lights and their mysterious appearance in unusual circumstances a long, long time ago...

I hear the cries of winter I cant stand to see the sight
Like waves they came crashing but now lie  still there in the night

Its far too late for many lying on once peaceful land
I wonder who if any fell directly by my hand

The morning brings a shiver as I lay behind the  wall
But I cant stay much longer as I hear the fallen call.

Shadows cast by the setting sun another days work is done
Close my eyes but I can't sleep through the long cold night

I feel the light burning in my eyes as I gaze at the distant sky
All around me I can see the northern lights.

Northern Lights

"Flowers forgotten at dawn" was initiated by Paulo Chagas using his bass clarinet. I responded with my 14th version of my mosesa.
