Will Clarke mans the controls: Making his Dirtybird debut in January with "Badness" on DIRTYBIRD 10, follwing up with "The Boogie Woogie" EP and lazer-snapping "808Frenzy" on "DIRTYBIRD BBQ - Grill$ons Revenge" collection, the bristly Bristol-based spandex enthusiast has enjoyed a beautiful summer with releases on Defected, Emerald City and Turbo and unforgettable shows across the US, Australia and Europe.

Returning to the label with the bulbous two-track EP "Turn It Up," Clarke does just that: Writhing in carnal groove simplicity, he taps into the roots of timeless, low-down, butt-wriggling house music with three obscene examples of strong-armed tech funk. "Can You Funk" punches with Breach-level hookiness, and Turn It Up does the loopy-loop with Dirtybirds trademark vocal trippiness.

i hope u all enjoy my new track.. i shot a video in a warehouse in downtown LA 2 days after i arrived over a year ago but the footage came out unusable. i always felt like i owed it to that place to finish the job. so we went back down there and re shot these scenes.  didnt want to shoot a professional dance routine or choreography, i wanted to shoot how normal people feel and move.. i wanted it to be natural..  music i hope you like my new video and track. If you’ve followed Dirtybird for a while, then you’re surely aware of Sacha Robotti. He’s graced the label several times the past 5 years, but often with a collaborator-Kill Frenzy, Kevin Knapp, Justin Jay, Look Like, etc. 

“Melato Nina” is Sacha’s first solo EP with us and both tracks are filled with emotion, appropriately so. The title track continuously builds around the haunting synth melody and the subdued vocals of Tauon, while the melodic “Low Key Goddess” contrasts the extremes of light & dark sounds to culminate in two brilliant pieces of music.

Fisher debuted “Ya Kidding” at the beginning of the Summer and it took a life of it’s own. It was perpetually in the top 10 for months, one of the most Shazamed tracks in Ibiza & UK through the festival season, took over multiple chart positions around the globe, and included an official video featuring an epic shoe-off, and became one of the biggest songs of 2017. 

With a track that strong as your first record, it was going to be a hard act to follow. Fortunately, Fisher’s sophomore release “Oi Oi” puts all those fears to rest. 

Leading off the EP is “Stop It”—the already infamous ‘roller coaster song’ that fans ask us about daily. The marriage of the track’s bassline and one sentence verse combine for an attention-grabbing single that raises the energy exponentially no matter where it’s played.

“Ya Didn’t” adds a funky bass bounce to a heavy synth stab, and a big buildup that cements Fisher’s reputation as a monster of the party.
