We swapped instruments for this cover. It's all in the name of fun.

Let Elle Go (Frozen OST Cover)

The idea came from a certain Mr. Mykel Punk Javier who wanted to make a "heavy" ver. of this PNE song. I grew up with PNE playing in the background of my 90's life so they're definitely an influence. I was listening to Joe Satriani, Kamikazee, Uverworld and Metallica at the time, hence the sound. I don't have a voice recording setup yet but we'll get to that. I also wanted to record this with a 7-string electric guitar and a 5-string bass, as it's in the key of B, so I had to make it work with standard tuning (E). Start singing after the opening snare hits. 

Your Song (Parokya Ni Edgar cover)

This is inspired by our band's (No Avail) cover of this song. Influences include Within Temptation's version of this song, Uverworld, Joe Satriani and the Chrono Cross OST Nusumenai Houseki. I tried to capture/recreate some of the parts we had originally performed live to the best of my abilities. This was recorded in Drop-B tuning. 

Titanium (Metal Cover)

I was made known that this was a Christmas song when this was added to our "pondo" songs (I never got the fruitcake reference, tsk.) AND until after I watched the video for it (Francis M. [RIP] as a policeman LOL). Anyways, we were tempted to do Kjwan's Daliri but we weren't up to it yet. This recording is from one of our rehearsals before our Drink For A Cause gig for one of our workmates. Song starts at 1:19. There's a surprise at the end so listen to it all the way. 

Fruitcake (Eraserheads cover)

Yeah 90s! I didn't want to cover this song wherein the drums/beat was the same all the way thru. Turns out Metallica's Sad But True can be a direct substitute here. I couldn't get a choir sound with just guitars that matched the one in the song so that's that. The song is originally in C but my instruments couldn't go that low (string tension) so I just did it in Drop C#. Anyway, I hope we get a chance to play this song live.
