I too missed the Aurora..out of laziness mostly. This sounds great and I'll just imagine what it looks like as I listen. :)

I like how th slow drone falls away and you just have the high parts, closing with the taiko-like low boom to finish. Well done!

This track is still absolutely awesome. I like the dreamy reverb on the piano keys. This piece is golden!

Confirmed!  This is the masterpiece that did cause me to close my eyes and drift off to sleep yesterday! 😂  I was very tired and am laughing at how I even slept through those earth-shaking booms!  Glad I went back today to listen. 😊  Good job Steve!

Zapsplat royalty free samples used from zapsplat website. Including samples by Lukas Tvrdon and Zapsplat (various thunder and rain samples). Samples timestretched and edited with additional automated FX.

This started with a bass line. One that's barely audible anymore, underneath all the complexity, the polyrhythms, the reverb tails, the generative rhythms, the caffeinated woodpecker hats.

Is it too much? You tell me 😄

Oh, Chiptune III and IV. They're there, just not mixed yet. I'll have to revisit them some time, IV needs some finishing touches too. This will probably become an album at some point. The "strange chiptune that is anything but chiptune but has 8 bit synths in it" album.
