my comments and repost keep disappearing. listened to this earlier a couple of times and left comments, likes and a repost but gone missing 😖. the vocal is awesome as are lyrics.

I wrote this song after an in-depth conversation with my mother who spent years searching for her mother.  It's in 7/8; perhaps reflecting the irregularity of relationships.

Some information about this track processing: it was processed with “ The Pulsar Echorec” VST, so it should sound more analog. the Echorec disk involving magnetic saturation and hysteresis…I wanted a warped warm sound so there will be areas on the track where there are dropouts coloring and artifacts. I love the way it adds grit musically. It’s basically an old fashion tape machine. In other word, it dirties up the track, and adds saturation and character…I love it!
