On September 24th I got the honor of closing out the night at Zebbie's Garden Nightclub in Washington DC after Sam Blacky headlined. I played a melodic techno set that was very different from most of my prior sets. This night was extremely validating for me as all of my hard work the past few months paid off and I delivered a set that the crowd, the club, and the other DJ's loved!!

Taking you back to the old school with a new school twist. I was practicing live remixing with my new DJS-1000 and thought it would a great learning experience to create a fresh PsyTrance-infused live remix of Run DMC's classic 'It's Like That', blended with original drum and bass lines created on the DJS-1000. Energized with samples triggered right from the decks and sprinkled with PsyTrance flair, this mix is a tribute and a new take on the iconic track. Dive in and let the nostalgia kick!

Step into the spontaneous energy of 'Electric Waves', an impromptu DJ set where the driving force of Trance meets the exploratory realms of Psychedelic Trance. Crafted on-the-fly for a house party and shaped by real-time requests, this adventurous playlist features the likes of Morton Granau, Gorgon City, Neelix, among other icons.

With this mix I dove into the capabilities of the CDJ-3000s and DJM-900NXS2, experimenting live with Rekordbox's USB Control Mode. The result? A recorded journey that helped me capture not just the tracks, but the unscripted energy of a night fueled by friends, music, and on-the-spot picks. From start to finish, this set is a snapshot of electronic synergy and the magic of mixing in the moment.
