Jerome Sydenham is an electronic music visionary who has worked across the industry for more than 30 years. He has gone from A&Ring Atlantic Records in his youth to heading up his own crucial Ibadan label while also releasing on plenty of influential outlets and DJing at every major club and festival in the world. His ever-evolving sound draws on his Nigerian heritage and has consistently maintained an almost impossibly high standard. He remains an authentic and essential veteran who shows why once more with this new offering on Lady Tazz’s Mind Medizin. The brilliantly potent 'Walk the Dog' is a tight, driving techno workout with rigid synth loops and eerie bells. It features Cosmic Soldier, whose menacing yet alluring vocals instruct someone how to behave. Add in the weighty bassline and you have an immediately timeless deep techno classic. Sydenham then remixes his own cut and flips it into something more bouncy and raw. The vocals are chopped into tiny looped fragments and there is a little more funk in the kicks that will get dancefloors marching as one.

About Oscar Sanchez:

Oscar Sanchez has been immersed in electronic music since the early 2000s. At just 16, he began honing his craft on Akiyama turntables and stacks of vinyl, practicing tirelessly in his room while recording and replaying Loca FM’s legendary “Techno Culture” program on his Walkman. These formative years shaped his deep understanding of groove, momentum, and the physicality of techno.

Throughout his journey, Oscar has shared the booth with some of Spain’s most respected names—Cristian Varela, Cristian Wünsch, Nuke, Pelacha, Raúl Parra, among many others. He has performed at emblematic venues such as Family Club and Área 42, and appeared at festivals including Oasis Summer Festival, solidifying his reputation in the central Spanish scene.

Since moving into production in 2017, Oscar has released on an impressive list of labels including Unity Records, Kneaded Pains, Dolma, Crash, Transfiguration, WRD, Vezotonic, Plastic Toys, Beats HD, Black Square, Elektrax, Xelima, Diffuse Reality, and has built strong collaborations with Kneaded Pains, MEUK, 09Recordings, The Acid Mind, Say What? and Sway. His catalogue reflects versatility, precision, and a deep connection to the roots of techno.
