Steve secured DJ residencies in Scotlands elite clubs between 1994 and 2000, before taking residency and Director of Music roles in Scotland's new elite superclub "Cube” in 2001. Steve also performed live on air with national radio station Beat 106 FM from 2001 until 2003. Between 2001 and 2004 performing at Cube and on Beat 106, Steve gained mass support throughout Scotland and further afield. 2004 saw Steve move into music production, as well as further touring globally as a DJ, playing at some of the worlds biggest clubs & festivals. Steve has rocked numerous main stages including Europe's largest dance music festival Nature One in Germany, Eden Ibiza, Miami WMC & many more, with his unique style.

Steve joined forces with producer Chris Breame in 2005, to create the hugely popular Trance duo A/B Project. Steve lays claim to some big releases, earning various awards for his music, including being the first Trance artist to win BBC Radio One’s “One For The Weekend” upon the release of “Misconceptions” in 2007. He has also won two BEDA awards while holding DJ residencies firstly at Revolution in Edinburgh, and later at Club Cube in East Lothian.

Steve owns SAME Recordings, SAME Progressive & DJSA Records independent record labels, home to artists including A/B Project, Blood Groove & Kikis, Andrea Britton, Trilucid and more. Vlad Varel - real name Vladimir Vareldzhan, a creative and talented musician, DJ & producer from Rostov-on-Don (Russia).
All conscious life Vladimir has been connected with music. Since the early childhood in a solar city of Sukhumi at the age of 5 years has started to try to play and create own motives on a guitar. After the arrival to Rostov-on-Don, soon he has started to practise music professionally and has arrived in musical school on a class a violin, then he has gone on a class a guitar. Having ended musical school Vladimir has understood that he cannot live without music and beginnings attentively to study music, has mastered game on a piano and has started to create own tracks. First tracks of famous producers which he listened, more and more are brought by something new more and opened new horizons for it. Mixes known Dj's, have reversed its perception of music. During this period he began to be interested more in club music and its creation. Has started to penetrate more, to study, communicate with people who have let him know that he should live music.

In 2014 came the publication of a new work called "Vegas", Steve Brian and Vlad Varel decided to join forces as producers. Their first collaboration Vegas included a combination of Balearic-style melodic chords from Steve and heightened senses of club sound, drive and sharp bits of Vladimir. Talent release hit the charts "10 MUST HEAR TRANCE TRACKS" and climbed to #30 in the chart Beatport.com "Trance Top 100". Single has already support double - Ferry Corsten, in the second episode of the radio show "Corsten's Countdown" which, "Vegas" entered the top three tracks of release and became №2, after which Ferry Corsten has also included the track "Vegas" in their official compilation "FERRY CORSTEN PRESENTS CORSTEN'S COUNTDOWN" release which was on a sub-label Black Hole Recordings label "Premier". Also work has been repeatedly supported by such famous artists as Gareth Emery, Bjorn Akesson, Super8 & Tab and many others. Dash Berlin is also not bypassed teamwork Steve Brian & Vlad Varel and included the track "Vegas" in his official chart top ten fresh tracks "DASH BERLIN'S DRAGONFLY TOP 10" to mark the release of the single "Dragonfly" on the label "Revealed Recordings".
