Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike have a long running history with good friend Steve Aoki under their 3 Are Legend alias, exciting fans with performances at Tomorrowland, Creamfields and Ultra Music Festival, and more recently at last year’s Untold Festival, and the power trio combine once again for the huge ‘Raver Dome’. Drafting in the production talents of Dutch prodigies Justin Prime and Sandro Silva for an uplifting anthem that is set to raise spirits worldwide upon its release, ‘Raver Dome’ follows on from previous hits such as the 3 Are Legend remix of Dimitri & Like Mike’s epic ‘Crowd Control’ phenomenon, and 2019’s ‘Khaleesi’, which stands at over 5 million streams on Spotify alone. 

The track centres around an instantly memorable melody, which is quickly joined by vast harmonics on the breakdown that help to establish a wall of musicality that fills the sonic space and provides a euphony that is both uplifting and guaranteed to get the party into full gear. The drop sees the introduction of a heavy, distorted kick that propels the track forward with added venom, ensuring that fans will be moving to the beat wherever they happen to be listening. 

Label bosses and current world #1 DJ’s Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike have excelled even by their own standards with their collaborative output, chalking up more than 150 million streams on their David Guetta, Natti Natasha, Daddy Yankee & Afro Bros collab ‘Instagram.’

Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Bassjackers wowed fans earlier this year when they dropped their single ‘Happy Together’, reimagining the classic The Turtles’ anthem into a high intensity banger redesigned for the dancefloor. Now they enlist German duo VIZE to provide a fresh take on their single, maintaining the energy and channelling it in a different direction, highlighting why the pair are the names on everyone’s lips in 2020. The remix showcases Smash The House’s inclination to innovate and work with the freshest talent in the electronic music spectrum. 

A brooding bass growl glides between notes in the beginning before making way for the familiar guitar riff, which morphs as the track builds towards the drop. The beat is a skippy, bumping groove that is simple but fills the space, while allowing the iconic vocal to take centre stage, shining alongside the synthesized brass stabs. The main break sees the track stripped back to showcase the original in a blaze of glory, a hands-in-the-air moment of anticipation before cranking up the energy once again. 

VIZE have been extremely prolific on the release front in 2020, and clock in an impressive 12 million monthly streams on Spotify alone, and their Slap House take on ‘Happy Together’ is the perfect complement to the original. The pull of a classic record is so strong that its familiarity is instantaneous. It draws the listener in, and the song hooks them in for the ride and the latest release on Smash The House is one such single that will do just that! Featuring the comeback of Belgian electronic act Sylver, alongside Angemi and Dave Crusher, ‘Losing My Religion’ takes one of music most beloved songs in a new direction. 

Repurposing a famed alternative rock anthem for dancefloor audiences, ‘Losing My Religion’ brings a euro-dance flavour to the mix with a four-to-the-floor rubbery groove alongside it. Much like the original, this dancey redo is infectious thanks to the iconic melody.

Seeing the return of the hugely successful Belgian electronic act Sylver this latest release gives lead singer Silvy De Bie a moment to shine with her stunning vocals. Known for hit singles in the early 2000 that included their debut ‘Turn The Tide, as well as ‘Lay All You Love On Me’ and ‘Forgiven’, Sylver topped dance charts across Europe with their brand of dance hits. Also joining the project is Angemi, a staple of the Smash family, continues to showcase his brilliance as a producer talent having recently released ‘Astronomia 2k20’ and a collaboration with Smash The House/Green Room label boss Like Mike on his ‘High Off Love’ single. Fellow Italian Dave Crusher also puts his studio magic into the collaboration. Having started producing music at 16 and with releases on various labels such as Musical Freedom and Blanco Y Negro, Dave Crusher has vast experience as a producer/DJ to draw upon.
