Steve Aoki is perfect at creating an emotion with vocals

"Wrong Turn" is a song about how making bad decisions (wrong turns) leads to a good outcome whether in your relationship or faith. While writing the lyrics, I took advantage of words and phrases associated with the title: lonely avenue, back on the road again, map in my hand, lost my way, kept looking forward, tried moving on, just more dead end roads, all the wrong places, kept going in circles, searching for answers, one final detour, the road less traveled, took a short trip, just miles of lonesome road, find our way, if I get lost, will I find you there, I will follow you anywhere.
