After starting a Nirvana cover band with friends from the neighborhood when he was just 14, Steve majored in music at College of Dupage in Glen Ellyn IL and attended Musician's Institute in Los Angeles CA from 2001-2002. Steve has also studied privately with Soulfly drummer Joe Nunez and Pat Metheny drummer Paul Wertico. Steve has extensive touring and performance experience locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally since 1997 with noted bands such as Marazene, Heart-Set Self Destruct, Vertigo USA (U2 Tribute), and current act For Love and Rock 'N' Roll: A Tribute to the Women of Rock.
