Small Great Tunes Vol. 3 is the next chapter here at Small Great Things. This powerful compilation features original tracks from artists on the Small Great Things label. The journey begins with the new collaboration between Marc Brauner & Luca Olivotto, titled "Hallo Hallo" (A1). Following that, we have Marc's original track "Many Times" (A2), a beautiful deep cut. A3 brings us "Love Moves" by Luca Olivotto, a warm and smooth house track with a rave-like bass sound, guaranteed to fill the dancefloors.

Moving on to the B side, we kick things off with "Sweat" by David Silver, a high-energy and groovy tune perfect for peak times. B2 is taken by Nephwes, presenting a slightly deeper and faster track with a captivating ambiance and a strong baseline. Finally, to conclude the journey in B3, we have DJ Merci's brilliant production, a deep track surrounded by house elements, making it a perfect addition to any dance floor.

The bond between Sprechen & Black Hawks of Panama is a long one which started when Danny Whitehead (aka Black Hawks) gave Sprechen’s Chris Massey his very first ever DJ gig after he won a local DJ competition in sunny Bolton many moons ago! Skip forward a good 20 odd years and things have now gone full circle with a 2nd release dropping on Sprechen by Black Hawks of Panama and it’s another absolute top shelf discotheque rocker of seismic proportions.

Discoteca-Bisteca slaps from the very get go with the pump-o-meter cranked up to 11! Filtered diva vocals, trippy synth lines and a chest thumping bass line all of which builds & builds & builds before dropping into some serious filtered breakdown action. You know when you need to choose your first track to play when taking over from the warmup to announce your arrival? This is it!

Primero tips the hat to one of the most well-known Italo disco tracks to ever strike fear into anyone that is thinking of smuggling. Lovingly reworked and given the Black Hawks treatment for maximum dance floor igniting when you need to drop a secret weapon. This one does it all…big stuff indeed!

The pair go way back, having being friends, DJ colleagues, co producers and label mates for over 20 years. Their latest release on Poker Flat, shows they have continued to bring out the best in each other. 'It’s Time', the title track, kicks off in fine style - a solid, urgent groove sets the tone, before sharp claps, a thick bass pulse and classic house stabs add the flavour. The pair clearly know how to work a floor.'

Premiere: Steve Bug & Cle - It’s Time [Poker Flat Recordings]

Fresh on the trail of this year’s exceptional long player ‘Noir’, Steve Bug returns with perhaps his most deep house-oriented track in a while – ‘The Long Run’.

Teaming up with US house legend Mr. V, who inititally donated vocals only, the collaboration brought up Mr V‘s own interpretation of Bug‘s track. This release is as delicious a serving of classic New York deep house as you will hear all year – or any year.

Dessous’ main man is at the controls, riding out a sumptuous, Rhodes-driven groove that references golden era Kerri Chandler and friends, but remains completely rooted in 2012. Mr V’s spoken word vocal lays out the manifesto for these two house pioneers – both are committed to quality music, made with passion and respect.

Next stop on ‘The Long Run’ is Mr. V’s stunning take on the same track. Ratcheting up the percussive elements, the New York native injects hints of the Latin rhythms that define many of his productions, making this into a stone-cold club banger whatever the party.

Both tracks come with corresponding instrumental versions for the DJs, rounding out this irresistible release that continues Dessous’ outstanding run of releases this year.
