Following the release of Dutch producer Djordje Petrovic aka Satori’s ‘In Between Worlds’ L.P on Underyourskin Records the imprint delivers a follow up remix package, welcoming an array of exciting producers in the world of electronic music. The Underyourskin imprint has been active since 2012 and is home to artist such as Krink, Jonas Saalbach, Schlepp Geist and Yapaac, and here we see it push on with some more intelligent and intriguing compositions.

Opening up the package is German producer Acid Pauli’s take on ‘The Whising Spell’ seeing him deliver his typically melodious and mind-bending style with sparse rhythms, arpeggio hooks and gradually unfolding synth sequences. The Micronaut’s ‘Days Without You’ remix follows and takes things into electronica realms with warbling square wave bass and broken beats layered under Miou Amadee’s soulful vocal styling’s.
Dutch duo Änimal then turn in a dropped tempo hypnotic rework of ‘Wasted feat Hugo’ next, laying the focus on subtly blooming pad lines, drawn out bass tones and bubbling percussive hits.
Berlin’s Mario Aureo switches things up into dubby realms, turning ‘We Don’t Exist’ into a dance floor workout with fluttering stab hits, a mesmeric synth hook and shuffled drum lines.
Kris Davis then rounds off the package with his interpretation of ‘Wasted feat Hugo’ delivering a charming bass driven take, employing dreamy bell chimes, elongated sub bass and expansive atmospherics.

Now into his second decade as a genre-bending producer and international touring DJ, Copenhagen-based Norwegian Mikkas Skuldstad serves up his latest release as Djuma Soundsystem - another tech-house gem from Steve Bug's Audiomatique stable.
'Momento' showcases his fine ear for unconventional combinations of tone and texture, as insistent stabs are married to a bassoon-like melody. Testimony to years of experience, its layers build up organically to work a subtle, sinuous, snake-charming hypnotism. 

On remix duty, Patrick Chardronnet adds a heavy bass wobble and droning layers that buzz with febrile energy. A hands-in-the-air section of scything synths unveils the original's latent power. This is heady, driving, relentless house music, burnished in its final minute by stirring orchestral strings. 

In 'Beatboxer', a crisp and crunchy rhythm loop underpins a wonderfully inventive high-definition groove. Layers of tribal percussion are added to the reverberating mix on a musical odyssey that more than merits its 10-minute running time.

Tim Engelhardt - the wunderkind from We- sterwald, who first came to attention at the age of 16 under the tutelage of Andreas Lindemann - spreads his wings on Poker Flat with a trio of highly cultured techno tracks. After an impressive stream of re- leases and remixes over the last few years, this is the sound of an artist attaining maturity.

'Everything Is All You Have' evokes ear- ly Orbital and the spaciousness of Ba- sic Channel, as Engelhardt layers fine-ly wrought and subtly blended musical ele- ments. It's a magically hypnotic groove on headphones and speaker stacks alike.

The title track is accompanied by a brilliant SHOW-B remix, that comes in a slightly te- chier vein and strips down the original to add subtle beat layers and a punshier feel.

Last up, the ethereal 'Isa' marries deeper bass to snickering percussion before buil- ding to an intricately funky, contrapuntal riff. Nebulous clouds of ambient synth evo- ke visions of low mountains silhouetted by setting suns: testimony to the stunning local landscapes that have inspired Westerwald's other famous techno son, Dominik Eulberg.

Here, in collaboration with AUTM, the migh- ty wobbling bass of 'Soul In Arp' is paving the way for a high-definition motorik groo- ve that's simultaneously deadly deep and feather light. Glowing surges of synth add a sunrise feel before a massive crescendo heralds a taut, gritty climax.

Ambitious, accomplished and growing with every release, Engelhardt is surely destined for great things.

Reprising his long and fruitful association with Poker Flat, Martin Landsky - elder statesmen and bona fide legend of Berlin's club scene - serves up another superb EP that is more than ample testimony to de- cades of experience in production and be- hind the decks at virtually every noteworthy club or festival you might care to name.

Right from the off, 'Da Geh Bo' hits the sweet spot with its booming bass, precisi- on percussion and spacious production va- lues. This is big, bold, upfront tech house garnished with imagination - not least the cut-up vocalizations that zip and echo in the mix.

'Under The Bridge' is equally ballsy, its re- petitive stabs demonstrating Landsky's in- nate understanding for what moves people in both body and mind. Synth drones sweep above you like searchlights over Gotham, soaring up towards a textbook climax.

Rounding things off, the House Mix of the title track marries a hard-hitting kick to a nebula of reverberating synth: a foundation for a swinging, swaying and utterly super- smooth groove.

Apparition is my 2nd single of 2015. In words of Noir: "This record is special. Its even hard to fit into a specific category. Apparition perfectly shows Coyu's diversity and unique taste in music and production skills. While the Dub Mix has an early deep techno vibe to it the original mix carries subbtle and catchy vocals by Marissa Guzman that will make it appeal to electronica, deep and tech house lovers as well. On this production Coyu is inspired by his early club visits in Barcelona and it works perfectly as a throwback and tribute to the history of house/techno. We had an instant crush on this record at Noir Music and feel proud to release music as unique as this one."
