New on Poker Flat, a four track release entitled New Moon, via the Bulgarian born Selderv (now living in Denmark), and several collaborators across the EP.    

The openining track Igray is a powerful tool for the dancefloor - slick programming and oceans of atmosphere make this a stand out track on an EP full of moments. 

Label boss Steve Bug takes a swing at it with his remix, and delivers yet another masterclass in remixing - accentuating elements from the original to create a new vibe. 

New Moon is a co-production with Yasen (Yasen Nedelchev, also from Bulgaria) and showcases a burgeoning partnership - the track is fully primed for maximum dancefloor euphoria.  

The remix comes from Kadosh  - the underground Tel Aviv native with a string of high profile releases and shows - who sprinkles his own magic on New moon to create a perfect counterpoint to the original.

Zurich-born, New York-based DJ Tony y Not is best known for her free-spirited sets, seamlessly weaving together techy acid, progressive, dark disco, and heart-opening indie. Have You Lost Your Mind channels a touch of Swan Lake-era Todd Terry – one of NYC house’s legendary figures – delivering a razor-sharp acid line, a rock-solid groove, and one of the most flawlessly executed breakdown/drop combos in recent memory. TEE MANGO’s first release on Kompakt has been a long time coming. Ever since Michael Mayer heard his sunkissed remix of The Invisible’s ‘K Town Sunset’ back in 2017, he’s been obsessed with his music. The two tracks here, ‘Moonshots’ and ‘My Mind Is Making Up Monsters’, are prime examples of TEE’s ability to create heartfelt, uplifting modern house music. There’s a sense of bacchanal liberation, a potent transcendental element that opens the mind to joyful bliss.

Mathias Kaden's ‘Freedom’ on Rekids receives the remix treatment 1st August 2025, with a new version from Kaden, as well as a dub mix from Radio Slave. Initially released as part of his 2024 ‘Circulate’ EP on the label, the release won support from the likes of Laurent Garnier, TSHA, and Dam Swindle.

Rooted in soul but geared for the dancefloor, Mathias Kaden’s uptempo rework of ‘Freedom’ toughens the original’s groove while allowing its jazz and dub-inflected stabs, strings, and keys to shine through, all while stripping back the track’s memorable spoken-word sample. Meanwhile, Radio Slave’s eleven-minute dub mix is a hypnotic, slow-burning and dreamlike track, built on spacious layering and a hauntingly re-emergent vocal. A full instrumental completes the package, with Kaden and Radio Slave joining previous ‘Freedom’ remixer William Kiss in oﬀering three distinctive takes on the track.

Active since the mid-90s, Mathias Kaden appeared on Radio Slave’s Rekids for the first time in 2019, adding to a versatile discography on labels like Cocoon and Vakant while also remixing work by DJ Koze, KiNK, Monika Kruse, Trentemöller.

"You Make Me Feel" was the first outtake from Steve Bug's second Poker Flat album "Sensual". Slowly but unmistakebly building up a hypnotic groove with a rolling percussion loop, ice-cold snare and hollering vocal (reminiscent of Gainsbourg's "Bonny and Clyde"), Bug forces you flashing your sharpest dancing routines even before he throws in that distorted, take-no-prisoners, Saunderson-style organ-bassline. Flip over for another version that's served up straightened-out and stripped down yet still manages to come up with a higher percentage of FUNK. Another totally satisfying five star menu for the Poker Flat gourmet.
