3 tracks that myself and my partner Mo recorded (and performed) at my brother's wedding. It was our first time performing and recording together.  We had a lot of fun.

John's Wedding

A collection of Eurorack and Sync Jams from South Farm in 2023. Playing around with my Makenoise Morphagene and a reel made up of samples from Freesound.org. I had a floating CV/Gate connection to an MS20 and so it was generating a lot of background crackle - in the end I left it in as I sorta liked it!

South Farm Jam 59

A collection of Eurorack and Sync Jams from South Farm in 2023. Playing with some clock timing modulation to create a sense of pushing and pulling. The Trident from Rossum Electromusic is providing the big bass drone.  Percussion samples from the factory sounds provided on the Intellijel One.

Early track - bells likely from Wavestation EX or Korg 01/W. FX from MS20.

An early favourite of mine. Inspired by Eno and Cale's work Wrong Way Up - in particular the track "Spinning Away"

Breakbeat driven, with a build, ending with lots of things at top volume :-)

A grungy beat track with harp overlaid later.  Terrible hiss (recorded on tape) like most of my early tracks.

Definite John Carpenter vibes in this track, plus some Fairlight shakuhachi!

90's techno with an early example of a neuro bass (sorta).

Drippy opening, lots of reverb on an MS-20, with a hypnotic bass underneath.  I always like the contrasting layers in this track.

An old favourite. Probably very early 90's. Main lead might have been an analogue-ish patch on the Wavestation EX.

Lots of 01/W big pads and FX on this one.

Bassline inspired by The Orb I believe. Early 90's track.

Modular jam, lead comnig from an WMD Synchrodyne, and some speak and spell fun from Morphagene

South Farm Jam 63b

A more ambient track, with Jupiter8 bassline and some slightly celtic influences.  Quality of recording not ideal (recovered from a tape which badly needs a new drive belt!)

Tech

OK, super indulgent track. I love the guitar sample driving the track.  The "screaming" lead is my trusty MS20.  Recorded live, and really needs a good edit. Circa 1998.

Guitar Jam Hypnosis

Slow build track, poor quality again (from an old tape).  Nice Jupiter8 strings.  Korg 01/W providing the drums and some other sounds.  MS20 on FX duty.  Circa 1995.

Call of the Ancients

Live jam with Jupiter8, MS20, Microbrute and other friends. Circa 2014.

Long Beat Jam

A title track for a short film called ISIS.  Lots of vocal samples and a sampled Bodhrán rhythm. Circa 1994.

ISIS Intro

An homage to JMJarre.  My first track with new modular setup (featuring sounds from Rings, Loqueric Iteritas and 0-Coast).

Stokey

Ode to Jean (Final Mix)

Listen to that Shimmer reverb go in the intro.  Lots of clouds to start and then a semi random LFO driven arpeggio through quantiser fires via a combo of Rings and a Doepfer VCO with a drone from Juno-6.  Lots of modulation for variation.  JV2080 & Roli Seaboard provides lead/pad - I was doing my best to play along with the very random arpeggio.
