The EP features Skyline Groove, Solstice Serenade, and Golden Circle, each offering a different facet of Brynjolfur distinctive sound. To complete the package, Portuguese-Italian producer Vhyce delivers a striking remix of Skyline Groove, adding his own personal touch.

The visual identity of the release is completed with artwork by Icelandic photographer Valtýr Daregard, adding an atmospheric layer to the record.

Whilst digging through my old CD singles the other week I discovered this classic from 1994, and thought I'd have a crack at remixing it.

I gave it some serious retro 80s influence all over the production, especially with the VST synths such as the Korg M1 / Polysix & DX7 and the vintage compressors such as the DBX160 and SSL bus compressors - not to mention a nice dollop of tape saturation for that freshly cooked feel.

The piano is actually a vst blended with a sample pack of the Bluthner 9' Concert Grand from Skywalker Ranch - a piano used in countless Hollywood movies as with such an iconic riff I wanted an equally iconic sound!

Nothing even comes close to Way out West's 1996 mix of this track, it'll always be the best version for me, but I hope you enjoy my take as much as I enjoyed making it!
