Many people have been asking about my current work. As the album is to remain classified till all tracks are fully mastered, I thought, I'd share this little piece with you instead.

This song is by far the oldest song on the record. The verses where written in march 2012, while the song itself was finished almost 10 months later, on Januari 5th 2013. This was by far the longest project I have ever worked.
(It was) All because, in my head I heard this one specific voice for the hooks. And even though I knew a lot of singers, I didn't know any one with that specific sound. Till the day I met Gaia.

#05 "Gung-Ho" (Love, Lyrics and the Lioness)

A few years back I had this discussion with a friend. She pointed out how she felt about the Dutch feast called 'Sinterklaas', which has its ties to slavery in our past. At the time I didn't pay much attention to it, which eventually ended the friendship.  I later realized how disrespectful I had been by not listening. This inspired me to do my own research and opened my eyes to a much greater problem in our Dutch society. That's when I wrote this song.

Originally I never intended to release it. As the recording quality is quite poor.  However, due to its content I find it important to share with ya'll. So here you go.
