Equipped with the task of contributing to the 15th edition of the legendary In Search of Sunrise compilation, he determined that the legacy of Angel Falls should be a chapter in this particular story.

Colombian Steve Dekay has been one of the more exciting talents to burst through on the higher end of trance's bpm scale in recent years. But his versatile traits shine through with his techno-driven Skender alias, and we are delighted to welcome him to Coldharbour Black with a two-track release.

Amongst Markus Schulz's highly praised Global DJ Broadcast Afterdark 2019 presentation, Neutrino was one of the pieces reserved for world premiere status, with Case following a few weeks afterwards.

Both tracks are brimming with the drive and energy we love in our techno, with the aura of dark and uplifting moods maintained. An essential for turning the peak hours into after hours, we look forward to more from Skender in the future.

Hailing from Colombia, Steve Dekay is a trance music prodigy whose rhythms and beats have reverberated across the globe. His esteemed reputation in the music industry is underscored by affiliations with major record labels, including Armada Music, Vandit Records, FSOE, Black Hole, Coldharbour, among others.

One of the defining moments in Steve's career has been his collaborations with trance legend Paul van Dyk. Together, they crafted the track 'Aurora,' featured on Paul's 'Music Rescues Me' album, and 'Impact' which made its way to the 'Guiding Light' album. Presently, Steve's melodious outputs are primarily released under Armada Music, Vandit Records, and FSOE Recordings.

His accolades include clinching the #48 spot on the Top 101 Producers 2020 list, a commendable #72 in 2021, and being honored with the Best Producer title at the CDA Awards in 2019. Steve Dekay, with his relentless passion and innate talent, continues to shape and redefine the trance music landscape.
