In 2012 and 2013 I reunited with ex Bangers bandmates Billy Prine and  John Bednarcyk. In the months that ensued we played famed Chicago nightclub Fitzgerald’s (Berwyn Il.) twice Saxon Pub (Austin Tx), and Vals Hala’s record store for the release of the album “Let it Rock” that was recorded in Nashville Tennessee on May 1. Along with playing on the disc I produced and arranged it also. I recruited long time friend and musical cohort to play bass on the album along with the two Fitzgerald’s gigs.  Johns wife Shannon played bass on the Saxon Pub. Here are some pics from those events. Along with the seven songs that were on the album.

Little Latin Loopie Lou

The Mysterians formed in the spring of 1997. Members Dave Elliot, Steve Dubin, and Pete Spin (alias Doctor Enigma) set out to ride the instrumental wave with a passion and continue to do that to this day. An alternative to vocal bands their fresh sound immediately drew attention from music buffs and critics alike and soon made them a Chicago favorite. Shortly after the group was together a 10-song ditty entitled "Surf Date," was released and one year later the group followed that up by a full-length cd entitled "Surf Rendezvous". By 1998 the band was in full throttle and were performing at concerts, clubs, colleges, festivals and parties. Being a regular on the summer festival scene The Mysterians headlined and shared the bill with major recording acts Jan and Dean, Link Ray, Robert Gordon, and The Electric Light Orchestra. The group also played a WCKG live radio broadcast at the House of Blues hosted by famed radio dj Steve Dahl. Over the years the band has played numerous times at Fitzgerald’s, Navy Pier, and The United Center. One of the combo’s many highlights was a live performance on fridays WGN morning news show.

The Lonely Bull

The Krupa’s ( a Chicago power trio)  was a group I played in 1985. The band went into the studio and cut four songs that I arranged, produced and played drums on.  Paul Harold wrote three of the four songs and the fourth song (Fast Cars) was a redone that Tracy Chapman had a hit with a few years prior. “Weight of The World “ received airplay  on Chicago’s underground radio station “The Bear”  Here are the cuts from that session.t
