The Calm Before The Storm

This is a medley of some music I've written in 2014 for a game called Star Rangers, by Escape Fuel Studios. As you can tell from the artwork, it was heavily inspired by the great Japanese shoot'em ups of the 80's/90's era.

Unfortunately the project recently changed direction and opted for different moods, tones and title. Consequently this music ended up to be unused in the game, but who knows ... maybe one day it will be featured on a different one. 
I'm still working on this game though and I can't say anything but it's gonna be awesome!

Each section (exploration, battle) is divided in short loops that can be interchanged depending on the gameplay. The ending is "one shot" and it's triggered whenever a stage is cleared or a boss has been defeated.

I think it's worth mentioning that everything you hear have been played by me on the keyboard, guitars included.
