"My Life Was Miserable, Yet Life Is Beautiful." On a snowy night, a homeless elderly woman froze to death on the street. Her loyal black cat stayed by her side until the end, passing away two hours later. Even God should not sing for those who were given nothing; it is the ordinary, nameless people who should offer a song as a flower to her memory. A simple piano suite preludes her hidden past and life’s unspoken beauty.

Recently I have been looking at Sally's Mann work  and I have been stricken by the intensity of his pictures and generally his work.
I have taken the chance to associate an old study of mine (2013) to this image which I believe capture the same introspection.
