Steven J began DJ'ing at the age of 14/15 years old, honing his craft over the years through various genres of dance music.  Influenced by one of the most credible DJ / producers of his generation "Tony De Vit" he followed in Tony's footsteps playing hard house & hard NRG picking up trance along his journey until he found a love for early deep house.  With this alongside a close friend, Steven J created their own club night combining 2 floors of thumping off beat hard house bass lines and another of soulful vocal house which gained a reputation as one of the top 10 club nights in the midlands in under 6 months.

Following this Steven J left his love of 145bpm hard house, teaming up with Jez rackham, a multi-instrumentalist / producer with a knowledge & understanding of electronic music and developed our concept of DJ / live bass guitarist.  With an additional live element added to the mix Jez Rackham and Steven J have played at numerous prestigious venues never failing to get thier crowd bouncing.  Between them they are able to lay down a solid pumping groove whilst also delivering inspirational vocal enhancements alongside the funky licks of GNL bass guitar.  

More recently they have joined forces with "Mr Freezer" opening up a new realm of creativity.  Taking inspiration from the infamous "MYNC Project" (Passion residents) they named themselves "Temple Thieves".  Whilst stripping back tracks with loops etc Temple Thieves are able to bring new flavors to an already incredibly funky vibe from deep vocal house through bumpy tech house to trance, minimal techno and virtually any other genre of dance music within the same set.  Believe me when I tell you that when this trio are on form it is a sight to behold and full of originality.
