In May 2019, CLIFFDIVER recorded their sophomore EP, aiming to tackle an oft-overlooked subject while creating an interesting and meaningful album. The new record, ‘At Your Own Risk’, is loosely based on a series of realizations that led Joey (lead singer) to search for a healthier way to cope with his bi-polar disorder. Each song on the record is designed to capture a particular real-life event that eventually accumulates into a broader narrative. The first single, ‘Cameron Diaz’, is the fourth track of the record, and describes the initial moments of clarity after seeking professional therapy. The prime goal of CLIFFDIVER with this new record is to enable individuals to have honest conversations about their mental health, and to end the stigmas surrounding it.
