Our third analysis of frequencies from the void above resulted in a snapshot obtained from the genesis of another universe. Celebrating one year of music FTVA03 consists of five cuts by the spanish maestro Do Or Die.

On the A-Side the record opens with Autoflanger, a driving techno track with trancey elements which gives no rest. A2, 25 Seconds, presents a biting electro cut where the vocals and synths take us on a apocaliptic journey. Heaven in Hell closes the A-Side with a tranquil but tense acid track where the interaction of the bassline, drums, leads and pads create an ascent into the enlightenment brought by the glimpse of this new universe.

The B-Side opens up with Out Run 2020, a warped break-beat phantasmagoria where detuned synths constantly fight aganst the driving bassline. Finally, B2 gives us Overdose, a gloomy electro cut with sounds brought up from the darkest places of this new universe.

Dylan Forbes is a man of sustained grooves. But for the next release on Haŵs, the Irish DJ producer deviates slightly from the sounds of his previous back-catalogue to investigate the idea of collective ideals from the solitary walls of his lockdown studio back in 2020. The resulting output is ‘Mind Expander’, an idiomatic release of club-orientated house and tech tracks marbled with introspection and the hopeful craving for dancefloor unity.

The opening ‘Ride The Flange’ jumpstarts the engine with an emphatic house beat, sitting beneath swathes of misty synth lines that trip over each other in their eagerness to peer into the void beyond. ‘Mind Expander’ takes the pH back to 1, with acidic iterations, delicate chimes and a protracted build up that yields a sense of broadening thoughts and augmented senses.

On the B-side, ‘Searching’ slots together gruff, probing basslines beside melodic contours that seem to dance together with a subtle rapport like two figures treading the verge between companionship and intimacy. ‘Take U Over’ intensifies the euphoria for the close, assembling a prog-inspired motley crew of synths, reverbed soul vocals and breaks to gently charm the traveller back down from the 4-track ride.

It’s said that reality exists in the human mind, and nowhere else - so let’s make the shared journey worthwhile.

A2 - Zapp-ared - Transaction (2018)

hiatus has finished, new wax is molded and Vakum spits out their celebratory tenth release. Warped Reality EP revisites galactic and spacious backbone sounds from not so long ago infused with fresh production spices. In this case, Cosmic G & Laars, the duo which grows from the new Serbian batch. Take a listen to this five-tracker riddled with space blasters and hypnotic segments.

A!. Flowing through interstellar space, B Star revisites some well known and loved sounds from early hypnotic era of electronic music. Upon arriving to the quazzar crossroads it also dives into breakbeat moments just to be reformed into acid sphere once again. A touch of trance goes a long way.

A2. Sometimes you hear a track that resmebles multiple tracks combined. This is just the case in Terestrial  Dreams. Filled with dreamy and galactic delays it pushes itself into endless progressive spiral of heavy bassline, smooth perc shots and otherworldly segments.

B1. All about the cosmic ride in a night train between two planets. Along the way it pasess through multiple sound stations and realms inviting even more passengers for this sparkling night out. Pure delicacy!

B2. Broken beats, scrapping vocals and intermitting bassline. Babble is inhaling acid hits from 
the sorroundings and projects them onto punchy snares and raw rhytmics to be carried further into old school babble beats. Perfect B side. 

B3. The outcast. The villan. The bad guy. Slow and ominous pace bundled with serious bassline sequence that goes into offence during the vocal break. This burner really stomps heavy hits onto you and smashes every sonic valve while pouring acid. "Oh, well, allow me to retort."

A2 Cosmic G & Laars - Terrestrial Dreams (snippet)

Future Voyages from Here to There dives into a dark, high-voltage world where electronic music collides with futuristic cinema. Heavy drums, deep bass, and complex synth arrangements drive the intensity, capturing the pulse of a sci‑fi climax and pulling listeners straight into the action.

Steve Marie start dj since 2000 and is known to have played in major Parisian clubs since 2008 and start to produce his own music in 2010.

Originally from Corsica, early music and self-taught, it’s under the influence of the Electro music and Techno that he began his first mixes at the age of 15 years of music production in stride…

Evolving in his style, Steve experiments and takes a turn in a techno style that wants to be abstract and futuristic, trancy in a nod to the beautiful 90s around 2015. He concretizes this ambition with his acolytes OPAQ Records leaving Signal EP in February 2018 which meets a great success among wise listeners in the underground world.

The energy that Steve deploys in his work is materialized by a second release on Opaq Records Transgression EP’s 002 in June 2018 that kept all its promises.

In addition, his perseverance at work allows him to take slowly but certainly his flight including crossing borders with dates in Germany, the United Kingdom, Russia and Ukraine and more.

In 2019 he produce his first album on LIBERTINE RECORDS - Libertines Industries 4, with 9 rave tracks with his first Industrial touch on it.
