BRADFORD

I made this track in (I think) 1989 for a sound installation about trains in Liverpool St Station, organised by Brian Hodgson of the Radiophonic Workshop. In the end it wasn't used, as the event was going out live on Radio 4 and it would take too long to get clearance on the lyrics by Jimmy Rogers.
Vocals are by Brigitte &amp; Zoe Alexander (Max's wife &amp; daughter).
It was recorded at home in Leytonstone onto a Tascam 38 1/2" 8-track, using a Roland TR606 Drumatix, Oberheim Matrix 1000, EMU piano module &amp; 3 Yamaha DX7s, plus location sounds recorded on the Central Line with a Uher Report on 1/4" tape.

A Radio 4 programme from 2004 about me & Andy Evans (Rory Motion) travelling to Malawi & Mozambique to do stand-up comedy in the villages - in the local language.
Andy did the comedy - I just recorded it.
