Mina Youssef - Palm Sunday 3rd Gospel (2017)

Chanted following the Pauline Epistle of the Liturgy of the Word for Great Thursday in the current Coptic Rite. This rendition was chanted in 1995 by Cantor فؤاد بحوث of the Greek Orthodox Church of Antioch.

Του Δειπνου σου του μυστικού, σήμερον, Υιέ Θεού, κοινωνόν με παράλαβε· ου μη γαρ τοις εχθροίς σου το Μυστήριον είπω·

ου φίλημά σοι δώσω, καθάπερ ο Ιούδας· αλλ’ ως ο Ληστὴς ομολογώ σοι· Μνήσθητί μου, Κύριε, εν τη βασιλεία σου.

إقبلني اليوم شريكًا لعشائك السري يا ابن الله لأني لسته أقول سرّك لأعدائك ولا أعطيك قبلة غاشة نظير يهوذا لكن كاللص أعترف لك صارخًا: أُذكرني يا رب، اذكرني يا قدوس، أُذكرني يا سيدي ازى أتيت في ملكوتك.

Receive me today as a partaker of Thy Mystical Supper, O Son of God; for I will not speak of Thy Mystery to Thine enemies, neither like Judas will I give Thee a kiss; but like the thief will I confess Thee: Remember me, O Lord, Remember me, O Holy One, Remember me, O Master, when you come in Thy Kingdom.
