After 3 years of intense work, delays, crashes over the projects and more... finally you can listen to this overview mixed by us, revising the most important songs of this album, created with Nacho Benedetti involving love and a lot of emotions.

I want to say special thanks to: Nacho Benedetti, Raffaella Bec, Ale Ban, Claudia Regina Martinez, Luis Paz, Emilio Zavaley, Carolina Giordano, Mike Shannon, Jesper Dahlback, Jorge Drexler, Cruz Pereyra Lucena, Dante and Iojan from Buenos Aliens, and all the public that supports me every-time, every-where and many many others that im forgetting right now. :)

This new reference on Dilek Records is something very particular and out of the ordinary. It was achieved after a long period of work in the studio, which lasted three years and was done with a lot of heart and passion. It's the 10th vinyl release of this surprising Swiss/Argentinean label who is now presenting a totally multicultural project. These productions are full of diversity and humanity, telling the story of an unusual encounter that led to a beautiful musical project with many influences, but mainly focused on the dancefloor, without complexes and far away from the purism.

Benedetti & Bianco is a project born of the need for expression of Nacho Benedetti and Franco Bianco. Grabbing from the musical traditions of Uruguay and Argentina, they began remixing vinyl with Alexi Delano and other huge figures of the worldwide scene. Their mixes go from techno to music of the "Rio de la Plata" region while their intention is having fun and creating something different to dance.

With this new work, they finally present their album named "Jorge Drexler Remixes" which is like the title indicates a release including remixes of Jorge Drexler's productions from the album "12 Segundos de Oscuridad". This project is audacious, full of captivating sounds and it also includes two amazing collaborations of Mike Shannon and Jesper Dahlback, who are very talented, well known and respected artists with a long career behind them. Their work is also very solid and balanced; it's an honor to have them on board of this new reference, that means a lot to everyone who participated.

This release will be available on vinyl as well as in digital format including bonus tracks and later on also in CD, with even more unedited material! Listen to these tracks and have the opportunity to discover something totally different with some of Jorge Drexler's uncut material.

Widely known Polynesian reggae artist in Hawaii, selling 15.5K albums. Album features Richie Spice, Tarrus Riley, Fiji, Million Stylez and Morgan Heritage.  
For lovers of Roots, lovers rock, reggae and dancehall comes Samoan reggae sensation J Boog. 

J Boog is a man of many influences. The singer of Samoan descent was born in Long Beach and raised on Compton, California. Growing up in the rough streets of Compton, the strong sense of tradition and culture that J Boog absorbed from his family was instrumental in his path to stay off the streets and begin a successful music career.
His new album, "Back Yard Boogie" is slated for release in 2011 and features some reggae giants like Richie Spice, Tarrus Riley, Fiji and Morgan Heritage, as well as Hip-Hop superstar Snoop Dogg. J Boog is excited about the future and all the amazing progress he's seen in such a short time.
At the age of four, after hearing his older sister playing the piano, he developed an interest in it and started watching her and learning about music. Soon, J was singing along to the notes &amp; melodies he heard his sister play. A while later, she brought home a Bob Marley song book. Even at this young age, J knew Bob's name and his music. Upon hearing his sister begin to play, something clicked inside J. He hasn't been the same since.

The first time J Boog sang for a crowd, he was nine years old. It was a large family reunion at a church and there were about 200 people present.
J's mother and sister insisted for him to sing Whitney Houston's "One Moment In Time" and J obliged them. Though he was nervous, it went quite well.
J Boog's music career became serious in 2005, when he caught the ear of his favorite ratios, George "Fiji" Veikoso". The two began working together immediately and J ended up moving to Hawaii in 2006 to continue developing his craft. After releasing his debut album "Hear Me Roar" in 2007, he joined the musical family Wash House Music Inc, a record label based in Hawaii and San Francisco.
A year later, in 2008, J Boog met Gramps Morgan of Morgan Heritage and there was an instant chemistry. Gramps was keen on working with J,
and set out to make a way. Shortly after, Gramps, J Boog and other Wash House family members were in Jamaica recording in such prestigious places as Bob Marley's "Tuff Gong" Studio, Don Corleone's "Hit Maker", Bobby Digital's "Digital B", Shaggy's "Big Yard", Sugar Minott's "Youth Man Promotion" and more.
The results are apparent when listening to Boog's new music. It is authentic Island Music and genuine Jamaican reggae at the same time. Truly a new and exciting combination. There is a natural theme to Boog's writing: love. It recurs throughout his work and never once seems contrived. When you listen, you will feel he truly knows matters of the heart.
