Sentimentality

No, no, I didn't double upload!! I decided to try out a new chip within Famitracker called the VRC7. It sounds less 8-bit and more like a sort of more modern synth, but it still runs on an NES with a proper chip in the cart! I don't know much about using this chip yet since it's way different than what I'm used to, but the instruments I picked felt fitting for the atmosphere of this song. Hopefully you like it and I'll probably do more VRC7 in the future for some variety! Thanks for listening!

Considering it's the start of yet another new year, and that I haven't been updating my channel lately... IT'S ABOUT TIME I MADE A MUCH-DESERVED COMEBACK.  Case in point: here's yet another classic many recognize from almost 50 years ago - despite some of us not being around then!

First featured on "The Partridge Family" in the 'Feminist' episode, it was since then covered and sampled throughout the ages by various other acts - most notably Perry Como, Kaci Battaglia, Katie Cassidy, Paul Westerberg, Constantine Maroulis, the cast In Search of the Partridge Family, and even Less Than Jake (featured in SCREAM 2 - which was how I was curious about this song in the first place, for the record).

Now hear it like you've never heard it before...IN ALL ITS INCOMPARABLE NINTENDO GLORY!!

Where do we begin? We closed out the decade by launching the Chips 'N Cellos project after 3+ years of mulling around about it. Better late than never! Each of you who helped us get to this point, and who listened to our covers and originals this year, made our dream come true. Life is that much more worth living when you're making progress on the things you truly want to do, having a smile on your face while doing it and connecting with like-minded humans about it afterwards.
