DJ Smitty started mixing 20 years ago in a friends bedroom. He started off playing old hardcore and over the years has developed his mixing with various different genres of music including Jungle, Drum and Bass, Dubstep, House and Bass. 

He has played at various events including Moondance, Moondance 4 Life, Moondance v Frantic, Son of Dance, Breaks, Epidemik, Essence of Chi, Rave Utopia, Nurtured Beats, Life FM events and other small promotions. 

He had a weekly show on www.lifefm.co.uk on his own and as part of Desecrated Souls (Smitty, Terra and MadTee). After Life FM Smitty had a weekly show on Rude FM 88.2. He has been a guest on various internet radio stations.

Flip Forward to the present, he is a resident on www.onlyoldskool.com where he runs the monthly house night called "Whoosh". Also helps in running onlyoldskool's "Garage Sessions" which is weekly. He also plays oldskool dance music of various genres from 88-95.

He is also playing as much as he can as a flexi dj on www.househeadsradio.com playing House and Bass. Working hard and learning bits and bobs on producing with the aspiration to one day make his own tracks.
