I did was not involved in any way in the creation of this song and all credit goes to FXX's It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. I love the show and wanted to isolate some of the songs to share with people :)

It's Always Sunny - Charlie's Best Song (Post-Spraypaint)

This song, “Holocene”, had become a dream of mine to cover ever since I first heard it by Bon Iver on the album, BON IVER, BON IVER. The melody and the beautifulness that is the guitars, as well as the rest of the composition, left me eager to eventually learn and cover this masterpiece! After several hours of learning this song and countless days of practice, I developed the ideas that eventually became this cover. I went to my good friends, Janae Dunn and Erick Morina to help with this project that then took several weeks to record, produce, mix and master. Check out Janae’s SoundCloud @janae_dunn for her amazing music and beautiful voice which she contributed to “Holocene”. SONG BIO:
Track 3 and the title track to my debut album: This song came about after a close friend of mine at the time was going through a difficult breakup. The vocal melody came to me and I wrote this song for her to show my support and that I would be there for her in this time of need. When I originally wrote this, it tested my vocal range as this was very high for me at the time (I've since become more comfortable with it) and my creativity. After critiquing a few lines in the verses and chorus, this song was ready for the studio and a lot of fun to record.
