My first Bootleg Remix ! I did this as a practice for my current Point Blank Music School term : Remixes and Creative Production , I've been shown this song by a great friend of mine , she loves this song and I wanted as a surprise to make a Synthwave Remix of it , hoping she'd enjoy it ! 

I do not have permission to use the vocals for my remix , I mainly used this track because I needed to practice before I start working on my School assignment , I have no intentions of uploading this song anywhere than on YouTube or Soundcloud. Hoping to get feedback on this song !

Sondre Lerche - Thank U Next (Kondensator Synthwave Bootleg Remix)

Here's my second Bootleg Remix ! We've been shown this track "Be Your Girl" by Teedra Moses at Point Blank Music School in the Creative Production and remix module as an example of a track that has a remix which has gotten even more plays than the original track. It was actually my first Remix project which I ended up releasing in second. I had completely reworked the whole track after finishing my Sondre Lerche Remix which I was excited to show to my friend and it turned out she also loves this one. 

I am really having fun turning Pop songs into Synthwave songs , I never thought I would have so much fun doing it , so I will probably keep doing remixes from time to time ! So for now here's my second Remix in a row , I will have a new original track release pretty soon as well. 

I do not have permission to use the vocals for my bootleg remix , I have no intention of monetizing this track , this will be released only on YouTube , Soundcloud and Rumble.

6 Months in between releases , I had been trying to make a new song during Fall but nothing was really working like I wanted. I finally got the musical direction which I think is working best for me and the ideas I have. I decided to blend Vaporwave with Trap/Hip Hop , I tend to go more towards the Lo Fi Hip Hop vibes which fits well with Vaporwave. I will definitely still keep trying to blend Hard House with Trap , found out Hardwave existed and this is what I wanted to do ! For now here's my Vapor Trap single "Cold Hearted Universe" , I think I really enjoy that style best, I definitely feel very comfortable making music in that style and enjoy it ! But I'll still keep trying to experiment and blending genres together !

New Synthwave/House Single for 2022 ! Decided to blend Synthwave and House samples for this song along with some other EDM samples. That's the process I had been usually doing recently but it shows a lot in this track especially with the drum loops I've used. I am using more pre-made drum loops for tracks since I've found how to use them properly and how to still use those and still be able to sidechain properly on the Bass tracks. As much as sometimes I enjoy making tracks from the ground up , I do enjoy just messing around putting samples together and build a song that way, it's like making a puzzle to me.

Decided to make another Soundcloud since I've maxed out my main one and don't want to pay for Pro anymore. 

I'm making a beat for Synthwave/Downtempo , I've added a Synth pad because when my opinion is that a beat out of context sometimes doesn't good , the other elements around it makes the beat even better than it is. It also made me change the BPM to 92 when I've added the Synth pad, for the reasons stated previously. 

Had to make a 32 bar Beat with at least one fill , I did the same beat all over with two 1 bar fills , decided to put at least a synth pad with the Ableton Wavetable Synth aside from that I only used compression and some reverb. I made my own drum rack with samples from my library. The assignments for the 2 first modules need to be done pretty much with stock plugins only so I am getting used to these rules right now.

I'll try to explain the beat the best I can : I did a very simple beat at the beginning starting with the kick on the downbeat and the snare on the upbeat , all on quarter notes. I've put the  closedHihats on the downbeat and open hihats on the upbeat , I did an exception on the second kick I am skipping the open hihat and playing 3 closed hihats to give some variation. I've did also 2 toms except of 1 on the downbeat on the second half of the bar. 

This was actually the first beat I've programmed myself , I was using only midi clips up to that point in my songs , I should have practiced that this Summer but better late than never I guess.

So now for Ableton Music Production class I needed to compose a track in Session View , which I haven't done before I was only using arrangement view before. Decided to record some Experimental Guitar tracks and use some Drum tracks , then I've added some other clips that would blend well with my tracks. 

So the result is something very different than what I usually do , that should be ok for this exercise , I'll work on something different with my own programmed drums for the assignment. I'll make an Industrial/Dark Ambient track for the assignment which I'll make in the same process used for this exercise ! 

There's absolutely no mixing done on this,  only fading out the tracks at the end , no effects whatsoever.

This is the song I have made with the beats from Week 2 exercise , instead of making 5 different beats I've made 5 variations of the same Drum Rack , to be able to make a song with it , and this is my first attempt of making a song with only stock plugins , which was kinda hard for me , the only Synth I really like is Wavetable. The mix is very dense there's a lot of stuff going on , there's my experimental guitar tracks buried in reverb in the background , there is a lot of sidechaining , I may use that for the assignment or start over with something else , anyway I'll release this on the next Cyberpunk Compilation on my label Paracelsian Productions !

Kondensator - The Resistance (pre-master)Week 3 Exercise Point Blank

New single released for the last Bandcamp Friday of 2020 , this is my first released track using pretty much what I've learned at Point Blank Music School (except for ''The Resistance'' which was pretty much a practice for the assignment) , did my own drum beats on this , no midi drum tracks from the Ableton Synthwave pack like on my other tracks. 

Composed this track in B flat Mixolydian mode , using B flat pentatonic minor for the bassline and melody. The biggest difference obviously compared to my assignment tracks for Point Blank is that the assignment ones needed to be 100% Ableton stock plugins , although I now use a lot more of the Ableton stock plugins on my tracks , I really prefer to use my 3rd party Synthesizers , on this track I've used Element from Waves for the bass synth , Korg Odyssey for the Melody and Babylon from W.A. Production for my Synth Pad. 

I plan on releasing redone versions of my assignments for early 2021 , as I've been really busy lately with my new job , couldn't attend the live classes anymore , all my assignments were already submitted before the end of October , at the second 1-2-1 I had pretty much my tracks done already and verified by Conrad & Matteo , so with approval of both of them I had only corrected the last few tweaks on the tracks and submitted them. 

I did learn some valuable stuff from the first half of the course , thing is I was too busy with work to attend the classes , my schedule wasn't that great and with overtime hours every week this is kinda difficult. The 1-2-1 sessions were the most helpful thing to me , especially for the Music Composition assignment I was so tired of listening to my song , it really helped regaining confidence about the track.

Kondensator - Operation Take Down The System

I am a musician/producer , currently going to music school , I am known in the very underground as a Noise Ambient Producer. Since 2020 I've decided to take things to another level and also began studying music and enrolling to Point Blank music school for Fall , I've started getting into Synthwave as a producer and released already 4 tracks this year , plus an EP scheduled for November. I listen to a lot of styles of music and I'm open to working with other styles of music than those I am currently into.
