Wishin' On A Bar (Demo)

Pennsylvania by birth, Tennessee by choice. Steven Charles has always had a melody playing somewhere in his head. Writing songs starting at age 10, he used music as his way to process the world around him. Early influences included Michael Jackson, Kenny Loggins, and Hall and Oates, setting up a love for concise, well-crafted pop music at a young age. His love of pop-rock bands like Oasis led him to start crafting songs of his own, and he spent his 20's touring and playing the emo/pop-rock circuit with songs akin to Jimmy Eat World. An increasing love in songcraft specifically led him to relocate to Nashville in 2018, where he developed a new-found respect for country artists ranging from Dolly Parton and Willie Nelson to Thomas Rhett and Brad Paisley. He still uses songs to communicate how he sees the world around him, but he also uses that skill to help others tell their stories in the clearest, catchiest way possible.
