Mix 89 of our exclusive mix series comes via L.A's Elastic Rhythms serving peak rave energy & dancefloor amo! The co-founders Morelia & Boondok have put together this set as their collab project, BroDawg ManDude. Embodying the intention of their label to bend music industry boundaries, Elastic Rythms pushes hybrid rave sounds, blending elements of juke, footwork, jungle and bass music. Since the labels birth, they've released music by industry icons Sinistarr, Salva, Sam Binga, Samurai Breaks and other FWJ faves.

Going right back to 1992-1993 with a selection inspired by old C90 tapes filled with London based pirate radio recordings from Pulse FM, Impact FM, Kool and Weekend Rush etc. 
DJs like Warlock, Skie, Transit and Jinx amongst others… 
A few of those original tapes got chewed up by my Walkman at the time and sadly there was no fix for that, just game over. 
Nice to go back and recreate the style of the sets I was listening to back then (unfortunately minus the chat and adverts which added a lot of atmospherics).
