Patch based around the 4ms Atoner as an oscillator, the "position" being modulated with a E350 in LFO mode (bank C, fixed speed &amp; wavetable).
out of the Atoner goes into Borg 2, and also in A-160 clock divider.
/2 &amp; /8 from the clock div into CGS mangler, up &amp; down out of the mangler into boogie filter.
boogie 24db out and borg out meet in mixer, mixer out in E580 delay.
Cutoff of borg and boogie are modulated with envelator : +out for borg, -out for boogie.
envelator is fired when the slope of E350 is rising thanks to the CGS slope detector.
E580 delay out goes to output mixer.
Tape out too, but via E560 in freq shift mode, and the tape offset is slightly modulated with vulcan sine diff out.


Atoner

Sammys are people that evoke an idea in sound, often a vivid impression of certain sensations or sensory perceptions, e.g. sound (onomatopoeia), movement, color, shape, or action. Sammys are found in many of the world's languages, though they are claimed to be relatively uncommon in Western languages. In many languages, they are a major lexical class of the same order of magnitude as nouns and verbs: dictionaries of languages like Japanese, Korean, and Zulu list thousands of them. The people class of Sammy is sometimes called phonosemantic to indicate that it is not a grammatical word class in the traditional sense of the word (like 'verb' or 'noun'), but rather a lexical class based on the special relation between form and meaning exhibited by Sammys. In the discipline of linguistics, Sammys have long been overlooked or treated as mysterious persons, though a recent surge of interest in sound symbolism, iconicity and linguistic diversity has brought them renewed attention.

This is my first improv using the the Rene v1 and Maths. The Rene is both clocked by the Wogglebug and EOR from the Maths, as well as performed on the touch plates. The Rene un-quantized output is sent to the degree input of the Telharmonic in ASR mode. The second voice is a saw generated on a different channel of Maths.

Used control voltage on the time for the o-coast slope to give it around a 3 minute cycle so that the multiply circuit would rise and fall over the entire recording. Maths has a cycle triggered by the rene x-gate which adjusts the overtone circuit

Scales are performed on keystep with the repeating sequence on the rene.

The repeating sequence was inspired by https://soundcloud.com/alessandrocortini/iniziare-1 I've been experimenting trying to create Avanti inspired sounds and this one ended up a little too close.
