A smooth sounding track almost like a crooner vocal with some layered harmonies. Tm added a Hank Marvin style guitar and bass and bongo drums. The song is about staying with your lover safe in their arms until the storm has passed and until the night has become day, darkness to light.

I still see the world now like I did as a child, I never did really grow up I didn't want to. This song is about me as an adult going back to the places where I grew up and walking in those same footsteps where I used to tread. I did just that back in 2019. It had been over 40 years but going back to where I grew up was beautiful and meeting up with a couple of childhood friends was the icing on the cake. This is the shortest song I've ever written it clocks in at less that 2 minutes but it's everything I want to say and more.  My friend Tim added a symphonic arrangement I did everything else.

This is a song I wrote about my Mum and Dad, wonderful memories of our trips by the sea. They have both passed away now but the memories are happy ones. Nothing prepares you for this but time does lessen the blow. At the end of the song is a refrain the first melody I ever wrote "we went over a river da ding ding da ding ding". I was probably then about eight years old.
