Originally recorded by Rose Royce, San Francisco legendary performer, Caroline Lund, asked me to make a new club arrangement she could bring down the house with.   Caroline performed the track live at Club Mezzanine in San Francisco - and she brought down the house.

From Kim's album, "Who You Are, " this is one of my favorite remixes I did from the cover Kim Kuzma recorded at my studio, Aureus Studios, in San Francisco, in 2005.

Inspiration came from having spent so many Monday early mornings at the End Up in SF, at around 3am, when the music was wide open and mellow.  I wanted to capture that feeling in this track, using Kim's voice as a sort of "transient" element flying around the listener.  It's best listened to using headphones.
