Hello and welcome to part 3 of our 6th birthday celebrations . This week we bring you the very talented Paul James Nolan .

From the shadows of the salt pyramid formations of the Salar de Arizaro in Argentina rises Renaissance man Paul James Nolan. A polymath with a formidable reputation as an audio engineer, artist mentor, and sound designer, Paul has navigated manifold paths through electronic music. He’s released on an engineered for some of the world’s most respected imprints from Bedrock to Kompakt. Concurrently, his artist development work has propelled numerous careers forward, notably on labels such as Circus and Afterlife. In 2019, he launched the subscription-based platform MYT which has grown exponentially, helping artists likeFourCandles, Gareth Cole  and Massanoto forge successful careers in an ever-competitive industry. Always in demand as a collaborator, Paul’s skills in engineering, production, mixing, and mastering have seen him work with acclaimed artists including Arthur Baker, The MartinezBrothers, JunkieXL,and film composer Jeff Rona. His innovative approach to sound design led him to work on Sasha’s critically and commercially acclaimed Late Night Tales album ‘Scene Delete’ in 2016 in LA. More recently, he has collaborated with melodic master Patrice Baumel, proving his finger is ever on the pulse of dance music’s unremitting beat. A bold audio alchemist, the DNA of Trentmoller, Jon Hopkins,and John Digweed can be traced through the lineage of his textured productions and the arc of his evocative DJ sets .

Ranj Kaler is a name becoming more regular on the global scene. After losing his DJ residency at the start of the pandemic, he used the lockdown to focus on music production. Within six months, he was releasing tracks on labels like ARRVL and Four Candles’ Keep Thinking, alongside attention grabbing reworks of Sade and Kate Bush. Since then, he's released music on labels including Capital Heaven and Foxtrot Alpha.

Never one to stick to a single genre, Ranj’s productions blend house, breaks, techno, and electro, creating a distinct sound that has earned him support from a long list of DJs from John Digweed, to Hernán Cattaneo. His talent has also made him a sought-after remixer, with labels like Hooj Choons, Pangea, and Laika Sounds commissioning his work.

Steven 's 10 year residency at the infamous Tunnel club in Glasgow seen him dj alongside the likes of Danny Tenaglia, Satoshie Tomiie, Deep Dish, Dave Morales and Roger Sanchez to name but just a few.

Guest spots throughout the world seen him feature with Sasha at Colours, John Digweed at Renaissance and Paul Oakenfold at Pacha.

Mix compilation releases such as "The Tunnel Mixes" with Paul Oakenfold and "Limbo Live @ The Tunnel" as well as various guest mix's including John Digweed's Transitions show, have all enhanced Steven's reputation.

Producing and recording under many guises, such as tipple and Dos Deviants. He has also undertaken successful co-productions with David Forbes, Hardy Heller and Chris Boshell.

In his recording career Steven has produced and mixed for some of house music's biggest record labels with his music featuring on classic Renaissance and DJ Tiesto compilations.

In addition he has turned his hand to remixing indie music legends Muse and global chart toppers Snow Patrol.
