HKPP - Beating The Crates in association with Ghetto Funk 23-11-13

After the release of the epic Paul Sitter album: Hip-Hop Delivery in 2023 &ndash; it was only natural to call upon some of the best remixers in our scene to put their twist on these timeless originals. Breakbeat Paradise Recordings is proud to introduce the vol. 1 out of 2 upcoming remixes package featuring a large range of styles from various corners of the electronic funk music scene.
Starting out with a true legend All Good Funk Alliance, who has taken the Go Move track featuring Andy Copper for a funky joy ride though some classic breaks and funky grooves. Followed by a big atmospheric redo of Global Chemistry by Mined Music who&rsquo;s taken a melodic hiphop twist on the otherwise oldskool original. The funky supersonic beat force Sonale came in on point as he turns the King Of Rock into his own on a beat and bass heavy funky remix. Freethinker Funk Essence takes a more chillout approach on one of the more instrumental track on the album called Nothing Gonna Change His Way.Roast Beatz takes it back on the floor with the dance friendly funky house remix of the Go Move&nbsp;featuring&nbsp;Andy Cooper on some classic disco funk grooves.Finally we see UK-based Towlie DJ taking the wicked B-Boy Impressions on a funky Drum &lsquo;N&rsquo; Bass ride to firmly conclude the first volume of the Hip Hop Delivery remixes. I live in Newcastle in the UK I'm a producer and DJ named Smoove . Crossing all musical boarders in my own compositions and in my DJ sets by fusing Funk, Northern Soul, Hip Hop, Breakbeats, Disco and Jazz.
I DJ in the UK and Europe with tours promoting the late 2005 release of my debut album “Dead Men’s Shirts” on Acid Jazz Records.

2006 saw the creation of the succesfull my own label Wack Records including the first releases “Big Love” 

I released my second album ‘Gravy’ (Remixes & Rarities) on Acid Jazz Records in 2007 which featured the B-Boy smash athem “Im A Man”. 

In 2012 I released an album "First Class" on Jalapeno Records featuring various remix works followed by Recorded Delivery album in 2019.

Smoove and Turrell first collaborated in 2009 having released our first album “Antique soul” on Jalapeno Records and have released 7 studio albums including ‘Eccentric Audio, Crown Posada, Broken Toys, Mount Pleasant, Stratos Bleu & Red Ellen.
