The last time I listened to this song, I was in primary school. I'm now almost done with university in a different country, with basically every variable in my life changed in one way or another since then. This song takes me back, to times not necessarily better, yet undoubtedly simpler. Steven, I'm grateful to have come across this song this fateful night. I'm grateful to have heard it in the first place all those years ago, and to you, for coming up with it and taking the time to produce it. I've a myriad of good memories connected to this song, and I don't think they would've been as memorable as they are had the song been different. I still find myself periodically humming your music all these years later. Your music piqued little me's interest for music and made him go crazy for it, so I thank you for that. Thank you zuhnedist for your thoughts and memories about Synchobonk. I enjoyed making it and played it live in one take. I just made it because I enjoyed doing so and had never expected it to be heard by anyone let alone being played hundreds of thousands of times. If it hadn't been for my son Philip suggesting I put my music on this site about ten years ago I don't think this track would have been heard other than on his videos. Synchobonk

The music on this account was made in the 80's on a number of keyboards and drum machines. In some cases they were recorded in real-time on a reel-to-reel tape-recorder, which each instrument superimposed on the last. Others were recorded using Yamaha QX21  or QX3 sequencers.

These tunes are my original ideas and were played by me. I hope you enjoy listening to them as much as I did recording them!

Minimoog, Moog Rogue, Korg MS20, Roland MC202, SH101, Juno 60, Jupiter 8, ESQ1, Bit99.

Drum machines:
Roland 606, 707, 808, 909, Yamaha RX11. 

Mixer:
Roland M240

Effects units:
Roland Phaser, DEP5, RE501, DC2, Akai Enhancer.

More recently I am using sounds from the Korg Wavestation, Roland System 8, Behringer Deepmind 12 and Model D and some other virtual synths and drum machines.

My released albums now comprise Synchobonk Collection, Deep In Thought, Deep In Thought (side B), Stagecoach To Harley, Wingwalker  Nice 1 Dad.
