Steve is a composer, drummer and film-maker based in the UK. In 2008 he graduated from The University of Manchester with a 1st Class honours degree in Music, followed by a Masters in Composition.
He is the founder and Musical Director of the Kaleidoscope Orchestra – an orchestra for the 21st Century; whose mission is to bridge the gap between Classical music and other genres.

Steve has also worked on several projects and commissions for the BBC, including a National Lockdown Orchestra, which Steve arranged the music for, produced the recording and helped with the video editing. It was aired across BBC TV and radio.
In addition to Kaleidoscope, Steve is the drummer and one of the composers in Riot Jazz Brass Band. Since 2009, the band has performed at festivals around the World, including shows in Russia, Andorra, Italy, France, Croatia, as well as UK festivals such as Glastonbury, Love Supreme, Kendal Calling, Womad, Boomtown and El Dorado.
Steve also composes and produces his own music and in 2020 released 3 piano albums which were featured on BBC Radio 3.
