A very negative response to the current music scene was the focus when this track was released back in 2006. Dark, spooky with unapologetic nihilism. Only 1 verse, no chorus, consisting of 4 lines. 

Optimistic Pessimism by SCUMBY

The final track from Scumby's 2nd E.P. contains a hidden monolith of a song the band felt would not fit with the concept of the record. The song is called " From The Womb To My Doom" and appears exactly one minute after the end of  "Miseroth 2". Possibly the heaviest song ever recorded in the band's hometown of San Antonio,TX back when it was released on Halloween 2006.  It was composed during the recording process which the band took advantage of.

Steve Salazar, is a person obsessed with dark, melancholic music and will listen to any genre of styles that bring out his hypersensitivity to the fore. As an electronic music enthusiast, Steve eventually progressed from fronting his post metal project Scumby into a trance/progressive DJ, as well as an aspiring electronic music producer today. When asked about his motivation for live performance he simply states, “I just want to brutalize people with music just as much as other artists have brutalized me with theirs.”
