The room sound of these drums was entirely made by playing the recorded tracks through a PA speaker. The speaker was then placed at the bottom of an industrial staircase and mic'd through a ribbon at the top. A simple technique I don't often get the chance to carry out! Beautiful Sensitone snare definitely helped.
