A few of you might not be familiar with the music genre Totalism, It emerged in the '80s and '90s as a response to minimalism and adds a rebellious twist. It's not afraid to mix things up and throw in a bunch of different musical styles. You might hear echoes of jazz, world music, and who knows what else in there. But here's the thing – it's not always smooth and pretty. Totalism can be a bit rough around the edges. It might mess with your expectations, throwing in unexpected twists and turns. It's rebellious, eclectic. What’s not to love 🖤If you appreciate Laurie Anderson’s - White Lily, you might well enjoy my psychoacoustic interpretation called Days go by. It’s mixed but not mastered & to be played on headphones recommended for the full around the head auto panning effect.This was just a bit of fun and due to clear copyright issues won’t be released. The Way You Resonate

Steve Sonius has been a fixture in Sydney’s underground electronic scene for over three decades. From deep, immersive DJ sets to explorations in ambient sound, his work is rooted in authenticity and experimentation.

As co‑founder of the long‑running Bad Dog parties (2000–2022), he helped shape a community around music and inclusivity. Along the way, he’s played everything from Mad Racket, Happenings, and The Phoenix, to Sleaze Ball, Mardi Gras, and Harbour Party, as well as curating intimate Ambient Guerrilla sessions at Casula Powerhouse.

Now focused on production, Steve continues to evolve his sound — weaving dub, house, and experimental textures into forward‑thinking electronic music.
