Red Robin has found his way into electronic music about 10 years ago. A long journey through various types of music, including 15 years of classical piano, 14 years of drums and African and Brazilian percussion prepared him for a fast integration into the electronic music scene of Berlin. Since 2005 Red Robin has been the resident DJ at Berlin's number one afterhour location, the Bar 25. He then released his first record on the Cologne based label Platzhirsch Schallplatten together with his buddy Philipp Groth under the name Pachulke & Sohn. After this release the word spread quickly about his demanding DJ-sets in which he combines his very own style of swing with dark and deep sounds.

Defining his style, mostly through his unique mixing technique, has allowed various types of electronic dance music find its way into Red Robin's DJ-bag including minimal, straight techno, breaks and tomorrows sound today. After he did a remix with Aaron Hedges on D.O.C. 12, he got signed on Trapez together with his buddy Jakob Hilden. Their ‘Metro Gold EP’ was released in July 2007 and ‘Snapdragon’ was played everywhere by everyone. Ellen Allien even listed it number one on her all year charts of 2007. The ‘Tales EP’ hit stores end of November and the next release that came out was a remix Red Robin & Jakob Hilden did for Lucio Aquilina. With the Bar 25 sadly coming to an end in the summer of 2010 but already with other residencies behind his name (Arena club and Watergate), Red Robin has definitely built a solid ground for more successfull years to come.

Relocation is bound to affect people in different ways. For some personalities the change in cultural atmosphere becomes an intense inspiration and for others it’s a daunting beast, full of trepidation and embarrassing language barriers. For the brain behind Blue Hour however, it definitely feels like it was the former. In moving from the south west of England to Berlin, the producer threw off the shackles of his former alias and the associations it had built up. Diving in with a fresh slate he found encouragement from fellow ex-pats Sigha and Shifted and set about creating music inspired by his new experiences. Funding the release of four 12”s himself, his new music has connected with a lot of people, including the Hessle Audio trio who have invited him to Farringdon to perform on the techno minded Room Two lineup (he’ll be playing alongside Pangaea, Blawan and Henning Baer) at their full club takeover on Friday 5th December.

Following the massive success of last year’s underground anthem ‘Where’s the DJ?’, techno icons Pig&Dan return to You Plus One, this time joining forces with London-based and Mexican-born talent Betoko for a new collaborative EP titled Feelings.

Built on the foundation of earlier collaborations for Mobilee and OKO Recordings, the trio reconnect with a clear vision that is confident, cohesive, and true to their roots. Feelings delivers exactly what its name implies: raw emotional power woven into melodic textures, crisp analog grooves, and a mature sense of restraint before erupting into a floor-shaking peak-time drop designed to ignite any room.

Honoured with the task of reimagining this bonafide anthem is Brazil’s Tiago de Renor, who first turned heads with his remix of ‘Where’s the DJ?’ alongside Siavash. Steven McIntyre, born in 1975 in Münster, discovered his passion for music as a teenager at a British boarding school, where he immersed himself in various pop genres and electronic sounds. His journey into the music scene began in 1990 with an internship at the record shop King Music in Münster, which led to his first DJ experience. He quickly gained recognition, becoming resident DJ at the Cosmic Club and from then on travelling as Steve Stix. His first own events, with headliners like Miss Djax, Ilsa Gold, Steve Mason and Scooter, caused a sensation.
In the late 90s and early 2000s, Steve's career blossomed as he performed alongside renowned DJs and opened his own record shop “Dundrum Records” in 1999, which was originally planned as record label. With residencies at Maria am Ostbahnhof in Berlin and Cosmic Club Münster, as well as founding Monopark events, he continued to create a stir in the electronic music, which had a major influence on the electronic music scene in northern/western Germany, especially for minimal and early melodic techno. He also worked as a freelance record critic for various dance magazines (Raveline, Groove …) and on the jury of the German Dance-Music Awards in 2000-2003. 
In 2013 he founded his own event and media agency, also dedicated himself to artist management and graphic design. His commitment to music production culminated in releases on renowned labels such as Traum Schallplatten and Stil vor Talent in 2023.
