BIO - Mike McClure aka Autokinetic has been performing live electronic music since 1992. Coming up alongside local legends like Freddy Fresh, Woody McBride, Paul Birken, DJ Slip, and DVS1, his approach to electronic music is unmistakably informed by his long involvement in Minneapolis electronic music culture. 

Earlier in his career, Autokinetic produced hard, 909-driven acid and now focuses on deeper, more spacious grooves. His full-hardware live performances have an unmistakable after-hours feel that is true to his roots. Live performance highlights include Loveparade, Fabrik, Even Furthur '96, Communion, and First Avenue. McClure also records and performs live as AutoClub with Craig Lambert (Midnight Music Club). You can find his music on Electric Music Foundation, Serotonin, Trope Recordings, and Music Man, as well as a record label co-managed with Freddy Fresh, Analog Records USA.

Artist Bio:
German based Shelley established herself since 2019.
She showcases elemental sounds from the realms of Hypnotic, Deep Techno and
Drum’n’Bass. With a varying sound across genres of electronic music, Shelley has
landed gig’s at venues such as Tresor Berlin, Sektor Evolution in Dresden and
played at Florian Meindl’s Flash Lab.
Shelley has been featured in mix series from Crescent London, Revelation Of
Sound, Diffuse Reality and more.

Artist: Armin Bender [Greyscale / Ohm Series / Vuo Records / spclnch / Piranha Siberia Dub]

For Our 16th trip around the musical cosmos we welcome to the controls a German artist who we have been a fan of for some time. With Releases on some of the top dub techno labels including , Greyscale, OHM Series and Vuo Records, we are proud to be able to host this mix from Armin Bender.

Armin is an artist who has been involved in the dub techno scene for 30 years, he is a passionate Vinyl collector, DJ and producer. An understated artist who goes about his work in a quiet and professional manner. 

This is summed up in his short but sweet biography - 

"Mind rave, goose bumps, deepness, groove, a smile on the face. Thats what its all about... No more words necessary, no history, no credits, no stereotypes, just the music that I love, preferably on vinyl... Peace!"

We thank Armin for his contribution to the series, its another fantastic mix filled some some audible delights including tracks from Dana Ruh, Pablo Bolivar, Matt & Mark Thibideau as well as the beautiful early track by DJ Sandwich on OGE White. She is an artist who defies simple categorization by genre or scene. Mareena’s work as a DJ, producer, and curator stems from a deep desire to create meaningful connections between music and people. Her roots go back to a time when club culture was rougher, and perhaps more honest. Yet instead of clinging to nostalgia, Mareena continuously looks forward, digs deeper, and explores new sonic and emotional spaces. With a finely tuned sense for atmosphere, she creates a sound that unfolds gradually, reveals layers of complexity, and fully envelops the listener. Her musical signature is marked by warmth and attention to detail, shaped by an intuitive understanding of contrast and dramaturgy.

Whether in dark club nights or contemplative ambient formats, which she presents through her label UNRUSH, Mareena builds soundscapes that challenge and support in equal measure. She never puts herself at the center, but instead uses her music to establish genuine connection.

In an interview with Andre Kronert, Mareena takes us on a journey. From a small village near Rostock to the legendary catacombs of the old Tresor club in Berlin, where she has held a residency for over twelve years. She shares memories of attending the Love Parade with her family in the 1990s and recounts how techno eventually pulled her to Berlin, where she found diversity, freedom, and her musical home. Speaking openly and reflectively, with her characteristic northern charm, she talks about her early days, setbacks along the way, and why she continues to curate, perform, and stay loyal to vinyl with unwavering passion.
